January 11th to February 1st, 2024
This class will be run as 2 seperate classes at the same time.
Foundation Manners:
Teach your dogs the foundations they need on their way to acheiving impecable manners!
For dogs 5 months & older with little to no previous training, this 4-week introductory class will teach basic manners with impulse control & relationship-building exercises. Along with "sit," "down," and "wait" we also focus on redirection techniques, loose-leash walking, "come when called" & "leave it."
Class is limited to 5 dogs. Class is at Scudder Campus in Wimberley, indoors.
Puppy Kindergarten:
Come learn, play and socialze with other puppies! Puppy Kindergarten is for pups that have had their second set of vaccinations, 10-20 weeks at the start of class.

- SitDown
- Come when Called
- Leash Walking and Selecting Equipment
- Greeting People
- Handling Exercises
- Troubleshooting common challenges- jumping up, nipping, chewing
- Settling
- Best SocializationPractices
- Off Leash Play
Class is limited to 5 dogs. Class is at Scudder Campus in Wimberley.
If you have not attended class with us before, please attend theory night via google meet (date to be determined). We will explain some basics of dog training, discuss equipment and management techniques to help you get the most out of class. Former students are welcome to attend for a refresher as well.
Please do not bring dogs on all metal collars including choke and pinch collars. Harnesses, head halters, regular or martingale collars are all welcome.
Motivating your dog is essential to good training! Please bring bite-sized, high-value treats to class. Treats your dog likes at home may not be good enough for class. Some all time favorites are cheese, chicken, hot dogs and meatballs. Variety is good so you can mix in lower value treats with the good stuff. If your dog loves toys you can bring them as well.
Important- when registering, please only add one person to the registration. Registration is per dog. Multiple people can attend with one dog at no extra charge, however, if you add additional people to the registration, you will be charged $140 for each person.
